Between hills and moors, it lies picturesquely at the gates of Munich: the Fünfseenland. On our culinary journey to Lake Starnberg, Ammersee, Wörthsee, Pilsensee and Weßlinger See, we visit country inns and beer gardens, get to know a cattle breeder, a tinsmith and a circus director, go on the water with fishermen and into the water with fishermen's stingers. And we look into the kitchens of Bavarian country inns, where cooking is sometimes more traditional, sometimes more creative.
