Ansgar Hehenkamp has been looking after the Laacher See as a fisherman for several years now. In the coming year, however, he faces a special challenge, because in addition to the declining demand due to the lockdown, he has to build a new fish hatchery. Five million fish eggs are to be bred there every year.

Currently, the old breeding station is located in an old monastery mill. However, the mill has been broken into several times in the recent past, posing a threat to the fisherman's existence. Even without this risk factor, such a new building represents a huge project for the small fishing company.
